Is a Car Wash Membership Worth It? How the Willie’s Wash Club Works
A Willie's Wash Club membership lets you wash twice a day, every day, at both Manhattan locations from $24/mo. Here's how the plans work.

If you wash your car more than a couple of times a month, a membership almost always costs less than paying per wash. The question is whether the plan fits how you actually drive. Here is how the Willie’s Wash Club works, so you can decide if it is worth it for you.
How the Willie’s Wash Club works
A Wash Club membership is a flat monthly plan that lets you wash on your schedule at either Manhattan location. The plan is built around one simple promise: twice a day, every day. Members can run their vehicle through up to two washes a day, as often as they like, for one monthly price. Cancel anytime, no commitment.
Two locations, one on each side of town, both honor your membership, and both are open 24/7. Wash near home or near work, or catch it on your way through town.
The four plans
Every plan includes twice-a-day washing, free vacuums, and 24/7 access at both locations:
- Willie ($24/mo, single wash $12): the essentials. One soap, one high-pressure rinse, undercarriage, and spot-free rinse. Under a dollar a day.
- Wildcat ($32/mo, single wash $18): double the clean. Two soaps and two high-pressure rinses. The deep clean, without the wax.
- Purple Power ($37/mo, single wash $20): the wax tier. Ceramic wax and conditioner for shine and protection.
- Powercat ($42/mo, single wash $22): the most popular plan. Everything in Purple Power, plus a blow dry.
Is a membership worth it?
The math is straightforward. A single wash starts at $12, so if you wash even twice a month you are close to the price of the entry plan. Wash weekly, after pollen season, winter salt, or a gravel road, and the membership is the clear winner.
A membership is worth it if you:
- Wash your vehicle more than two or three times a month
- Want your car to actually stay clean, not just get cleaned once in a while
- Like pulling in whenever it is convenient without paying each time
If you only wash a few times a year, a single wash or a prepaid card is the better fit. We will tell you that straight.
How to join
Joining takes a few minutes. Download the Willie’s app from the App Store or Google Play, pick a plan, add your vehicle, and you can wash the same day. Prefer a windshield sticker? Ask an attendant and they will set you up. You can switch tiers or cancel anytime right in the app.
Member perks
- $50 off every detail. Willie’s is the only detailer in Manhattan, and members save $50 on every detail package. One SUV detail at member pricing saves more than a month of Powercat.
- A discounted first month for new members.
- Seasonal promotions rotate through the year. Check the Wash Club page or ask an attendant for what is running now.
